Terrain handbook 44: Lucena (Philippine series)

This document, Terrain Handbook 44, is a classified military intelligence report prepared by the Allied Geographical Section (AGS) of the Southwest Pacific Area (SWPA), operating under the command of General Douglas MacArthur. Dated November 30, 1944, the handbook was created to provide "basic topographical information of military interest for the use of officers in forward areas" during the strategic push to retake the Philippines.
