Filipiniana (Limited de Luxe Edition), Volume I: Land and People

Published in 1937 by the Philippine Education Company, Inc., this volume is part of a monumental 10-volume set edited by Zoilo M. Galang, a pioneer of Philippine literature in English and the author of the first Filipino novel in English (A Child of Sorrow, 1921). As the editor of the Encyclopedia of the Philippines, Galang sought to institutionalize Filipino knowledge during the Commonwealth era, a period of intense national identity building.

The book is considered valuable. It is advised that researchers use digital copy rather than physical books for preservation purposes.
