Volume 8 of The Educator, the journal of Silliman University College of Education. This issue contains peer-reviewed research articles, classroom reflections, and thesis and dissertation abstracts, with substantial coverage of distance learning, online teaching, and education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Educator is published once every three years under the auspices of Silliman University College of Education in Dumaguete City, Philippines. The foreword states that the journal was conceived in 1998 and that volume 4, covering 2007-2009, introduced external peer review and a double-blind review process for full-length research articles.
A 106-page journal issue with ISSN 0119-139X. It includes three peer-reviewed research articles, four classroom reflections, two thesis abstracts, and eight dissertation abstracts. The cover design depicts overlapping shoe prints forming the silhouette of a child’s head.
